Chronicling my Quilting and Sewing Journey

I’ve always been involved with some type of needlework since I learned to knit at age 8. Knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, needlepoint and crewel; they all contributed to enjoyable leisure time. I tried sewing clothing but couldn’t obtain results that were satisfactory. Home decor sewing was more my style. I dabbled a bit with a few small quilting projects and quickly realized that it was different than regular sewing. A beginner quilting class at a local fabric store got me started on on my journey. The appeal for me is that there is so much to learn. There are endless patterns to try, techniques to master and opportunities to create.
