I came across this pattern which takes half of a jelly roll or alternately you could make two quilts from the one jelly roll. The finished quilt is about 36 inches square. I had a batik collection that I used for this pattern.
A fun and easy project, just not sure how useful this size would be for anything other than a wall hanging.

You could use it at a small table topper to dress up your table. Nice colors for Spring.
